Expand your reach

Market your business to 100,000+ listeners
across Fairfield, Hocking, Perry, & Pickaway counties

Advertising your business on The Wolf is a very affordable addition to your advertising strategy.

Our goal is to give every advertising client the best possible value regardless of their size and budget.

Due to the competitive nature of our business, the confusing nature of rate grids and the many seasonal packages and specials we offer, our rates are not available online.

A message to ad agencies:

We want your business! But, we operate under unique situations that we want you to know and understand.

Your initial search probably shows that we are listed as WLOH-AM (1320) and, looking at our logo and coverage map, you may be a little confused. So here's how it works...

At the FCC, our WLOH-AM license is the 'mother license'. Then our three FM signals are licensed as 'translator (or repeater) stations' which operate as a simulcast. Each FM station has a unique set of FCC call letters that we do not use publicly. They are W283BO - 104.5 FM, W257EQ - 99.3 FM, and W275CT - 102.9 FM. So technically speaking, we are really WLOH-AM-FM-FM-FM.

From the ratings perspective, we do not subscribe to Neilson or any other service. Our physical location makes these services useless for our purposes.

While Fairfield County is part of the Columbus Ohio Metro Survey Area, we’d like to make one thing clear - we are NOT a Columbus Radio Station. We serve Lancaster and the surrounding area, which is a distinct community and proudly NOT a Columbus suburb.

Our Metro coverage population is approximately 100,000 in the MSA of 1.8 Million. In other words, we are a guppy in the ocean. There is no way we can be adequately represented by current PPM placements.

And we also operate transmitters in Hocking, Perry, and Pickaway Counties, which are non metro areas. These stations cover another 100,000 population, albeit outside the metro area.

We use a more direct method to look at our audience. We use the analytics of our online stream and apps. We can directly look at those cumulative, hour-by-hour and time spent listening numbers, and make some accurate predictions of total listener participation. Obviously this method does not conform to the norms you are used to for ratings.

So if you're looking for coverage of Fairfield, Hocking Perry and Pickaway Counties in Ohio, we are your station. We want to work with you.

Because quite honestly, we have a really good radio station!
